Back to Reality/ the Future
Well folks we’re back home from our fun lil East Coast jaunt with our buds Grand Vapids, their new album comes out in July, keep yr eyes peeled for it, its great! Thanks to all the folks that came out, put us up, bought stuff from us, etc, much love and we hope to see you again next time!
The picture above is from a film shoot for Fairfax channel 10 public access, so if you live around their keep yr eyes peeled for that.
We’re all antsy to get back on the road (so be on the look out for a fall tour/ holler if you want us to try to included yr town) but in the mean time we got a couple coolgigs coming up.
Saturday, May 25th we’ll be playing Psych Mountain Fest at the Mothlight here in Asheville. Other bands playing Saturday include Dead Meadow, Saint PE, Indighost (& More TBA), the fest continues on Sunday, So check it out and pick up a weekend pass here or a day pass here
Tuesday, July 16th, we’ll be back in Athens at Go Bar w/ Lambda Celcius, Abe Leonard and few other folks
Finally, We have a few tour shirts and other merchandise up in the shop, so if you couldn’t make it out to those are ripe for the gripping here We are a fully independent band, and self release our records and book our own tours, it is a lot of work and a big investment of time/money for folks like us that have to work day jobs to get by. Tour starts Tonight in Athens!

Spring East Coast Tour with Grand Vapids
kinda self explanatory based on the above, but April 25- May 5 we will be touring the East Coast with our buds Grand Vapids from Athen, GA and we hope to see you along the way. We’ll be ripping material off ‘Get Weird or Die Boring’ and some other choice cuts from the ol discog. come say hay!

Continental Drift//Lunar Eclipse - Art Opening/ LP release party at Harvest Records!
There is a lot going on Friday, April 5, 2019.
In less than a week and a half ‘Get Weird or Die Boring’ will be officially released into the world on LP/digital. To celebrate there will be an art opening at Harvest Records in Asheville (415 Haywood Rd) featuring album related paintings by Ben. This will double as an LP release/ listening party, so come on down and check out some paintings and listen/ grip the new LP. Things kick off at 6pm, with the album starting around 630.
Can’t make it to the Opening? There’s still time to preorder the LP. There are options that include a preorder exclusive shirt and a preorder exclusive special edition that includes the shirt as well as a one of a kind painting in the style of the album art/ many of the pieces included in the art show. Also, tune into 103.3 Asheville FM (or stream HERE if your out of town) on friday 3/29 5-7pm. Ben will be cohosting the second half of the show ‘Feels like the First Time’ and will be talking about the new album and the upcoming art opening, and playing a cut or two from the new record. The show will also be streaming online at the Asheville FM website for the following week leading up to the album’s release.

Axxa / Abraxas Presents 'Get Weird or Die Boring' Out April 5th
Our long-awaited third LP, ‘Get Weird or Die Boring,’ is finally set to drop one month from today! Recorded to cassette on a Tascam 424 mkii at home, this album is by for the most psychedelic record by the band to date.

We will be celebrating the release on April 5th with an art opening/ listening party at Harvest Records in Asheville. The opening will showcase textural paintings by Ben Asbury made in conjunction with the new album. Gonna be a good ol time so come on out and hang if yr in the area.
